The Well-Designed Pull-Out System for the Garage Storage Compartment
A new feature is now available from FAS: A pull-out system for the garage storage compartment that can be extended to either side of the vehicle up to half its length.
The smooth-running base module with specially developed heavy-duty roller technology is equipped with two large flat drawers. Optionally, the box rack installed above can be ordered, whose lockable side compartments provide quick access to frequently needed tools, for example - corresponding QuickFix fasteners are included. The rack's cover plate prevents rainwater from entering the boxes.
The pull-out system is manufactured in the usual high FAS quality: proven aluminium profiles, powder-coated sheet metal, smooth-running heavy-duty rollers. An electric locking/unlocking mechanism ensures safe operation, along with an additional safety installation that prevents unwanted shifting beyond the halfway point when parked on a slope.
The FAS rear pull-out system can be retrofitted in almost any existing vehicle with a continuous rear garage. The base module has a self-weight of approx. 75kg and can be loaded with max. 225kg. The optional rack module also weighs approx. 75kg and is delivered with Euro plastic boxes on request.
