Delivery of Mercedes Arocs 4x4 with 5.9m Living Cabin

Delivery of a 5.9m Living Cabin with Electric Storage Box Staircase on Mercedes Arocs 2042 4x4

A coherent travel vehicle from front to back for long-term travel with a dog was recently handed over to the owners. The warm interior with cosy round seating area and plenty of equipment is made to become a new home.

Living Cabin

The living cabin was built according to the FAS principle with a massive self-supporting steel frame and floating GRP sandwich panels. With 70mm thick outer walls, the cabin is exceptionally well insulated.

Interior

The warm muted colours in the interior were combined with eye-catchers in red Alcantara. The customers chose buffalo leather in sand colour for the round seating area, and the lava-look kitchen worktop complements the successful combination of earthy tones with elegant modern accents.

The cabin was equipped for the first time with a special smart home control system for expedition vehicles.

Seating Area

Right at the entrance, the generous round seating area invites you to relax. The cushion in front of the pass-through to the driver's cab is removable, making passage easy for both humans and pets.

Kitchen and Hallway

The 1.45m long kitchen worktop features a 2-plate induction hob and a scratch-resistant BLANCO sink in volcanic grey. The worktop has a foldable extension creating a generous total length of 2m.

Bathroom/WC

The combined shower room features an OGO composting toilet, a ceramic washbasin and a shower tray on 1.2m length. A special highlight is the installed Shower-Loop, which recycles and reheats the shower water.

Sleeping Area

The generous double bed measuring 2.05 x 2.0m offers plenty of space for retreat. Two foldable solid oak step surfaces facilitate the climb into bed. Behind them hides the 3kg TINY WASH washer-dryer.

Exterior

Base Vehicle Preparations

A wheelbase extension of 30cm was carried out on the Arocs according to Mercedes Benz body guidelines. A fuel tank system with a total capacity of 610L was installed.

Exterior Staircase, Outdoor Kitchen and Storage Boxes

The storage box staircase with side access was electrified for the first time for this vehicle. A stainless steel outdoor kitchen was installed in the rear passenger-side storage box.

Rear Carrier

The mounted Rear Carrier XL is manufactured in proven construction. The double telescopic extension allows lowering to ground level. Self-weight approx. 400kg, payload 875kg.

Roof Rack

The custom-made roof rack not only gives the vehicle a balanced appearance. The galvanised and chassis-colour powder-coated construction carries 2 powerful light bars. Access to the Permateek-decked roof terrace is via the pneumatically extendable ladder.

We wish our customers all the best and safe travels always!
