Rear Carrier for Mercedes Benz Arocs 3353 6x6
A 14.00R20 complete spare wheel, two 2m sand boards and 2 motorcycles are to be transported on the Rear Carrier XL with 1,400mm platform in the future.
Two spare wheel mounts are supplied as standard with the base module. For flexible attachment of the sand boards, 2 universal holders and a set of special sand board pins were supplied. The two motorcycle rails were already fully pre-assembled and can be adjusted by the customer to match the wheelbase of the two-wheelers. For loading and unloading the motorcycles, the platform is lowered to the ground using the supplied cable remote control.
The platform is attached to the base carrier with a bolted connection and can be replaced with another if needed. The rear carrier is also usable without a platform. The FAS underbody protection can be folded up for off-road driving. All attachments are mounted on a specially manufactured adapter plate on the chassis and have no connection to the living structure.
A frame extension and frame reinforcement were carried out in advance on the 3-axle customer vehicle by builder Krug XP.
